Residents, within the Neston area as a whole, reported concerns about suspected drug taking in and around the area.
Community members highlighted increased suspicious activity and expressed worries about the impact this behaviour was having on neighbourhood safety and the well-being of families and young people.

In response to these concerns, local officers planned and carried out a targeted plain-clothes operation to identify and disrupt the individuals involved in drug related crime.
As a result of this proactive work:
Officers identified and caught a male actively involved in the drug dealing in the Neston area.
The suspect was arrested at the scene following the operation.
He is now in prison on remand, awaiting trial.
