PCSO Conway continued to maintain a visible presence in the area when duties allowed. Monitoring the location either during the morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up times, engaging with motorists to offer advice on safe and considerate parking.
Eddisbury Road is designated as a ‘School Street’, prohibiting vehicles from driving or parking there between 08.30 – 09.00 and 1445 –15.30, Monday to Friday.
In addition, patrols were supported by Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) enforcement officers, who hold responsibility for enforcing the road markings and associated parking restrictions.
Blue Badge holders and permit holders are exempt from these restrictions.
There is clear, prominent signage displayed at both ends of the road to ensure drivers are aware of the rules.
We’d like to thank those parents and residents who have worked with us to improve safety around the school. Your cooperation is helping to create a safer environment for children walking to and from Woodlands Primary School.
