A 31-year-old man has been jailed for selling cannabis in Ellesmere Port.

At a recent police surgery, residents reported concerns about a local male believed to be regularly drink-driving and discarding empty whiskey bottles and cans in nearby bushes to avoid detection.

Increased patrols in the area and worked with local businesses and members of the public to identify the individual.
Officers located him, carried out a breath test, and arrested and charged him.
He has now been released pending a court appearance, where he is likely to face a driving ban.
