ASB / Drug dealing

Officers have taken robust action to address anti-social behaviour and criminality within the area. Two Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) have been successfully obtained against individuals responsible for persistent anti-social behaviour, providing additional measures to prevent further offending and protect the local community.
Working in partnership with Halton Borough Council, officers also secured a partial closure order on a problematic address that had been linked to ongoing reports of crime and anti-social behaviour. This action has helped to disrupt offending, reduce nuisance to local residents and improve the quality of life for those living nearby.
In addition, officers have conducted a detailed and proactive investigation into a local drug dealer operating within the area. Through dedicated intelligence gathering, evidence collection and enforcement activity, sufficient evidence was secured to bring the offender before the courts. As a result, the individual received a four-year custodial sentence, removing a significant source of criminality from the community and contributing to the ongoing effort to tackle drug-related crime.
Officers remain committed to working alongside partner agencies to combat anti-social behaviour, disrupt criminal activity and ensure the area remains a safe place for residents, businesses and visitors. Through continued proactive policing and partnership working, further action will be taken against those who seek to cause harm or negatively impact the community.
