Drug use and dealing in West Bank
Issued 29 July 2026
Officers have increased both high-visibility and targeted patrols within the area to address concerns raised by the community and tackle criminal activity. Through proactive engagement, intelligence gathering and targeted enforcement, officers have identified individuals responsible for causing harm and contributing to crime and anti-social behaviour within the neighbourhood.
Working closely with specialist teams and partner agencies, officers have executed drug warrants and taken positive action against those involved in the supply and distribution of illegal substances. This activity has resulted in successful prosecutions and has disrupted criminal networks operating within the area.
Tackling crime and protecting vulnerable members of the community remains a priority. Officers will continue to carry out intelligence-led operations, maintain a visible presence and utilise all available policing powers to identify offenders, bring those responsible to justice and ensure local communities remain safe places to live, work and visit.
