About Good SAM
Cheshire Police are now using an innovative streaming platform known as GoodSAM which allows the following:
- our 999 and 101 operators can view live footage from the scene of an incident during a 999/101 call.
- witnesses and victims can send us evidence
- video consultations
- for you to share your location
If we decide that GoodSAM should be used, we will send you a prompt via a text message. This will contain a unique link for you to access this service. You MUST ensure that you are not putting yourself or others in danger when using the service.
Any footage or data stored will be managed by Cheshire Police. Recordings will not be stored on your mobile device.
